Q: HOW DO I GET PRE-SALE TICKETS?
A: Pre-sales for the tour start at different times and days for different venues. Some started today, some tomorrow, some Thursday. You should check ticketing info for your specific show to get accurate information. We requested tickets go on sale a certain day and time, but sometimes the venues decide to do something else and that is out of our control. We will be updating links on our "Ticket Info" page.
The pre-sale is for a limited amount of VIP tickets, and General Admission tickets. If the VIP or GA tickets sell out during the pre-sale DON'T WORRY - more are being released on Friday (in most cases - one or two on Saturday) for the General Public On-Sale date.
The price for the VIP ticket is $50 above regular ticket price. It includes admission to the show and all of the special VIP perks which are listed on the "VIP Ticket Info" page on this website.
There are only a total of 112 VIP tickets per show, so if you want that ticket, don't hesitate!
Q: WHAT IS THE "UPGRADE YOUR SEAT" OFFER AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
A: We thought it would be really special to allow fans to watch the show from ON the stage. For $100 per seat upgrade, you will get to watch Allstar Weekend's set from the side of the stage. We are only offering FOUR SEAT UPGRADES PER SHOW. Once they're gone, they're gone!
You must buy a regular ticket to the show in addition to the seat upgrade. You can buy a General Admission or a VIP ticket, whichever you prefer, through your regular ticketing site, then "upgrade" your seat through our merch store.
The upgrades will be available for purchase only through our merchandise store www.AllstarWeekendStore.com. There will be an item listed as "Upgrade Your Seat" that you click on, then you will be allowed to select the city you want the upgrade for, and the quantity. You can buy multiple upgraded seats in one transaction, for example, if two of you are going to the Teaneck, NJ show, you can buy 2 upgrades at once if they are available. These are going to go fast!
We will email you with specific instructions and contact info, but the basic procedure will be as follows: Check in at our Mech Booth when you arrive, show the order confirmation, meet at a designated spot 15 minutes before Allstar Weekend's set time, be escorted backstage, grab a quick photo with the band, proceed to your spot on stage, enjoy the show!
THIS OPTION HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VIP TICKET AND WILL NOT INCLUDE THE PERKS OF THE VIP TICKET.
Q: WHY ARE YOU NOT PLAYING MY CITY AND ARE YOU ADDING MORE TOUR DATES?
A: Touring is more complicated than you may think! We'd love to play every city, every state, and every country, but it's simply not possible. We pick cities based on several factors including how many fans came out to see us the last time we were there (so if we play your city and only a handful of people show up, it makes it harder for us to come back!), what venues are available for us to play in, what cities and venues are available and makes sense when you are driving from place to place (if the only date in San Francisco that's available is after our show in Chicago, we can't drive all the way back!), etc. You get the idea, right? So it's not that we don't WANT to play...for whatever reason it just didn't work out.
We may add one or two more dates, but that's basically it this time around.
Regarding other countries, it is so costly to tour in other countries so the money combined with not being sure enough people would show up to the shows makes it difficult to get over there! We are still working on it, though. We swear.
Q.: HOW DO I INTERVIEW THE BAND?
A: Please do not email me. I will have to delete the email. If you have a legitimate fansite and would like an interview, I will be posting info in JANUARY - no sooner - on how to request an interview with the band. If you do not get one, understand that the band's time is limited and we can't possibly accommodate every single request. Don't be offended, don't blame the band, don't be upset. We will do the best we can.
HERE IS THE INFO:
FAN INTERVIEWS!!! Hi Everyone, it's Stefanie.
I've been debating how to do this and even IF i wanted to. So I'm going
to establish some rules. Under this post in the comments section (THIS IS REFERRING TO A POST I MADE ON FACEBOOK - PLEASE REFERENCE THAT), you
can send me your interview request. All it should say is:
1.City & Date of show you're attending
2.Name of website / youtube / fansite / whatever
3.Links to the website, youtube, facebook, twitter, tumblr. 4.If you post multiple times, you will NOT get an interview.
I'll go through the requests and send Facebook private messages to the
sites that I pick. If you don't have a site already established, please
don't bother. If you have 2 followers, I probably won't pick you. If I
see everyone complaining about not getting picked, I'll stop picking. If
you email me 10 seconds after I pick you because you don't know what
time the interview is, I'll cancel it. Some days the guys have time and
some days they don't. Some cities we already have a busy schedule.
Honestly, it's just the luck of the draw. Think of it like entering a
lottery. If you get an interview, awesome, if not, that sucks, but life
goes on! In the beginning of this band, we granted interviews to
everyone who asked. Now they have less time because they have more
responsibilities, and quite frankly, only their fans are watching the
interviews anyway! So, they're only doing these because they want to
make you happy and they enjoy talking to you.
Let's make this a fun process and be happy they're spending their free time with the ones they love :)
